How I Work

I specialize in anxiety and relationships and am a depth-oriented therapist. I welcome adults from diverse backgrounds and experiences and have expertise with spiritually minded, transgender, LGBTQ+, and creative communities. With therapy, we can work collaboratively to uncover your innate wisdom, cultivate fulfilling relationships, and increase your confidence and sense of belonging.

In our work together, I will strive to offer healing insight and perspective, supporting you to expand your comfort zone with a sense of safety. Together we will access hidden emotions and process them in your body, mind, and spirit, to enhance your experience of the fullness of life. Along with your conscious thoughts, our work can include mindfulness of sensations in the body, visualizations, and breathwork.

About Dr. Bigelow

I hold a PhD in Clinical Psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute and have 15 years of experience in clinical, research, and spiritual settings. My research focuses on body relaxation, breathwork, and guided visualization exercises to improve mental health and well-being among therapy clients. Over a decade of personal daily meditation practice and spiritual study profoundly informs my life and work with clients. I am a Psychological Associate (PSB 94027195) working under the supervision of Dr. McDavitt.

Fees

My full fee is $225 per 50 minute session, but I offer therapy on a sliding scale, so ask me about the possibility of a lower fee if needed due to economic limitations. 

Insurance

I am an in-network provider for Aetna. I am an out-of-network provider for other insurance companies, which means I can provide a monthly statement for you to submit for reimbursement if your coverage allows.
